A systems control company has acquired a manufacturer and marketer of monitoring and control wireless products with electronic security applications. Inovonics Wireless Corp. of Louisville, Colo., has been purchased by Roper Industries Inc. of Duluth, Ga.
Inovonics President Andy Drenick said in a statement that his company sought the acquisition to reach new customers.
“Being part of Roper allows us greater access to global markets, creates opportunities for synergies with existing Roper businesses and provides us the management tools and resources of a NYSE-traded company with a total capitalization of $3.5 billion,” Drenick says.
