T3 Innovation of Camarillo, Calif., releases the Coax Clarifier layout/fault finder, which helps field technicians locate dark, unpowered coax systems.
The product’s large, backlit LCD screen shows loss levels on each coax cable run and displays a bar graph indicating quality of signal for each one. The faultfinder also detects and tests splitters for quality, shorts/opens, according to the company. Wiremap remotes allow technicians to map an entire system. Additionally, the product measures cable length up to 1,500 feet.
