TAC Appoints New President of Americas Region

TAC, a provider of building automation, security and energy solutions, has appointed Jeff Drees president of TAC in the Americas region and executive vice president of TAC AB.

Based from the Americas headquarters in Carrollton, Texas, Drees will be responsible for strategic planning and management for the performance and growth of the company in North, Central and South America.

Drees joined TAC, a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, in 2001. He has held several positions at the company, including vice president of the Partners division, of Energy Solutions Sales, and most recently, of Systems Integration, Central.

“With his successful track record and broad experience in TAC’s business, Jeff is well qualified to strengthen TAC’s market leadership position,” says Arne Frank, CEO of Malmo, Sweden-based TAC AB.

Under his leadership, Drees says TAC will continue to deliver solutions focused on reducing capital expenses, lowering operating expenses and improving customer business performance.

“Clients today are demanding more than building systems,” Drees says. “They’re looking for solutions that can save energy, add value to their businesses and contribute to a better environment overall.”

Before joining TAC, Drees held various management and engineering positions at Caterpillar Inc. and Honeywell Inc. He also served as a technician for the United States Air Force.
