Through the years, ISC East has taken a step back to other major security industry events. This year, ISC East made a bit of a comeback in attendance, with ISC Senior Vice President Ed Several going as far as to say it was the best attended ISC East since 2006.
That left those at the Javits Center on Wednesday pleasantly surprised by the turnout as the booths and aisles on the show floor featured a constant stream of passersby during the exhibit.

One step onto the show floor and attendees were greeted by a singing duo outside of Napco Security Technologies’ booth. Most of the other booths were there more traditional in their presentations, eager to tell end users and security integrators how their products and security solutions can add protection through intrusion, access control, video surveillance and other aspects of security.
ISC also announced a new event, the Connected Security Expo, that will be co-located with ISC West scheduled for April 6-8 in Las Vegas. With more and more IT security professionals attending physical security expos, ISC launched the event to help integrators look at security from a multidimensional standpoint. This will help attendees as they become increasingly more united.
Security Sales & Integration made its way around the show floor at ISC East. Take a look at the action through the eyes of SSI.
