The Mini Stopper Model STI-6600-G by Safety Technology Inc. (STI) of Waterford, Mich., is a multipurpose cover equipped with a horn that can be used to protect keypads, emergency buttons and other devices without restricting access. The cover protects smaller flush-mounted units from accidental activation, and its strong construction allows it to take hits without causing physical damage to the STI Mini Stopper or the device it’s protecting.
The STI-6600-G is intended for use with single gang devices, such as keypads, light switches and emergency shutdown buttons. It consists of a tamperproof, clear polycarbonate shield and frame that fits easily over the unit it protects. The cover is equipped with a 9VDC horn so when it is lifted to gain access, the battery-powered alarm emits a 105dB sound.
