Tech Systems, a security systems integrator, announced its acquisition of White & Associates Electronics Inc., a Lexington, Ky.-based, security systems integration firm.
During the past several years, Tech Systems has expanded its operations within the security industry. White & Associates was founded in 1968 and purchased by Jim Taylor in 1985 to provide complete design, installation and service for CCTV, access control, automated gates, parking control and other low-voltage electronic systems for commercial and industrial clients throughout Kentucky and surrounding states. The owners of the two companies first met through electronic security cooperative PSA Security Network.
Darryl Keeler, president of Tech Systems, says of White & Associates, “They were a logical fit for us to extend our system design, integration and support services to both existing and prospective clients.”
According to Tech Systems, the acquisition gives the integrator a geographical foothold in the east central and midwest portion of the United States, expanding existing personnel.
