Tee Times Available for AIREF/NBFAA Golf Tournament

SILVER SPRING, Md.
Published: February 22, 2004

Before teeing off for the hustle and bustle of ISC West and seeing how alarm companies score at the 2004 SAMMYs, there are still spots available to tee off at a golf event in Las Vegas to benefit the Alarm Industry Research and Educational Foundation (AIREF). Co-sponsored by the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), the AIREF/NBFAA Golf Tournament and Evening Event will take place March 30 as part of the festivities preceding the ISC West.

The golfing will begin at 8 a.m. at the Revere at Anthem Golf Club – a group of two 18-hole courses designed by architect Greg Nash and former PGA Tour great Billy Casper. The 7 p.m. evening event will take place poolside at Treasure Island’s Kahunaville with hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and the presentation of the Morris F. Weinstock and Sara Jackson awards.

The golfing and poolside evening can provide bookends to Security Sales & Integration‘s 9th Annual Sales and Marketing Awards (SAMMYs), taking place at 4:30 p.m. at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino on March 30.

The fee for dinner and golfing is $250, and dinner alone is $100. The cost includes green fees, cart rental, lunch and transportation. For more information, access www.alarm.org or call Melynda Cutler at (301) 585-1855, Ext. 117.
