CHICAGO — Telular Corporation announced on Monday its acquisition of SMARTLogix.
Telular is a global technology company based in Chicago, and provider of IoT (Internet of Things) solutions for commercial telematics, security and bulk storage management. SMARTLogix is a provider of petroleum management, inventory and transportation of logistics solutions.
Telular owns security vendor Telguard.
SMARTLogix had been a long-time partner of Telular’s and was an exclusive provider of Telular’s tank monitoring solutions to the petroleum distribution industry. SMARTLogix, based out of Fort Mill, S.C., will be part of Telular’s SkyBitz division.
