McLEAN, Va. – The Monitoring Association (TMA) has opened registration for OPSTech 2026, scheduled for Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 in Dallas, according to an association announcement.
The interactive event brings together operations leaders, technology innovators, monitoring center professionals and solutions providers from across the monitoring and security ecosystem, the announcement says.
A highlight of the program will be the featured monitoring center tour that will be hosted by TMA member COPS Monitoring this year.
“We look forward to welcoming industry peers and sharing how our people, processes, and proprietary Generations platform support resilient, dependable wholesale alarm monitoring every day,” says Jim McMullen, president and chief operating officer of COPS Monitoring, in the TMA announcement.
“COPS Monitoring has been delivering redundant monitoring since 2004 and our Lewisville location has been an important part of that strategy since opening in the first quarter of 2012,” he says.
Why Should You Attend OPSTech 2026?
OPSTech “has become a signature event for the professional monitoring and response community, offering a unique environment focused on peer-to-peer engagement and practical problem-solving,” according to the TMA announcement.
“Unlike traditional conferences, OPSTech emphasizes open dialogue and working sessions where participants share experiences, explore emerging technologies, and exchange strategies to improve monitoring operations,” the announcement says.
Through facilitated discussions and interactive sessions, attendees “will gain actionable insights on topics such as artificial intelligence, automation, video monitoring, operational efficiency and leadership,” according to the TMA announcement.
Participants are encouraged to “bring their toughest operational challenges and collaborate directly with peers who understand the day-to-day realities of running and supporting modern monitoring centers.”
“OPSTech brings together operational leaders and technology experts who are actively shaping the future of professional monitoring,” says Alan Gillmore IV, president of The Monitoring Association, in the association announcement.
“After experiencing OPSTech for the first time in 2025, it reinforced for me how critical it is to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices and how valuable it is to do so by coming together with peers at gatherings like OPSTech,” he says.
The 2026 OPSTech program will feature “dynamic discussions, collaborative sessions and networking opportunities designed to strengthen relationships across the industry while delivering practical solutions attendees can immediately apply within their organizations,” according to the TMA announcement.
TMA members who register by July 15 are eligible for special early bird pricing.
Additional program details, including speakers and session topics, will be announced later this summer.
