The Protection Bureau Goes Green

The Protection Bureau, an independently owned security systems integrator in the Mid-Atlantic region, has “gone green” by gaining membership to the U.S. Green Building Council, a nonprofit trade organization that promotes sustainability in how buildings are designed, built and operated.

By joining the council, The Protection Bureau will now be able to help general contractors on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects.  The LEED Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

As part of The Protection Bureau’s new green initiative, it will provide pre-packaged, assembled material to the job-site to reduce the number of boxes and industrial waste.
