TMA’s 2025 OPSTech Welcomes Record-Breaking Attendance

OPSTech attendees went to dynamic sessions and interactive roundtable discussions led by security industry leaders and technology innovators.

McLEAN, Va.The Monitoring Association (TMA) welcomed more than 150 monitoring and security professionals to Addison, Texas, last week for its 2025 OPSTech, drawing the annual meeting‘s most attendees in its five-year history.

Over the course of three days, attendees took part in “dynamic sessions and interactive roundtable discussions led by respected industry leaders and technology innovators,” according to the association announcement.

“From the opening Welcome Reception to the closing workshops, this year’s OPSTech was exceptional,” says TMA president Alan Gillmore IV, in the announcement. “I was among a record number of first-time attendees this year. I took away actionable intelligence that I plan to readily implement in my own business.

“Moreover, I had the opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues from across the industry and meet new colleagues and thought leaders. The opportunity to engage one-on-one was invaluable,” he says.

What Did TMA OPSTech Attendees Say About the Event?

“OPSTech keeps getting better and better,” says Bryan Broadhead, principal of Cogent Security Advisors, in the TMA announcement. “There was a great mix of technical, process ideas and personnel ideas. Of course, the networking is powerful as well.”

Meeting attendee and monitoring center veteran Sandi Villanueva, executive vice president, administration at Superior Central Station, Inc., described the meeting as “the best experience in my career,” adding she found the people and the sessions to be “just amazing.”

One of the highlights of the meeting each year is a tour of a state-of-the-art monitoring center. This year, attendees visited ECAM. A North American leader in artificial intelligence-driven live surveillance technology solutions, ECAM has the continent’s largest footprint of monitored mobile and permanent surveillance units, according to the TMA announcement.

With a vision of Every Camera Always Monitored, ECAM “combines the world’s most advanced AI-driven live video surveillance technology with human expertise to deliver real-time protection,” the announcement says.

The dates and location for the 2026 OPSTech will be announced shortly after the new year, according to the TMA announcement.
