The first few months of 2018 saw an unprecedented amount of M&A activity in the security industry, and the trend continued in March.
Four acquisition stories made it in the top 10, two from the same company. Any guess what company that would be? I’ll give you a hint — in last month’s top stories compilation, I said, “Interestingly, neither of monthly top story-makers ADT or Vivint appear in this month’s edition. Maybe they should get their checkbooks out in March!”
Apparently one of those companies took my advice!
In February, MONI surprised everyone by rebranding for the second time in less than two years. March saw another major rebrand when ipDatatel and Resolution products finally revealed the name of their new company after merging last year.
