The smart home and Internet of Things (IoT) is increasingly playing a part in the daily lives of consumers. It is imperative for security pros to offer these types of services before the likes of DIY companies and Amazon put a serious dent in their businesses.
In fact, research shows that smart home integration with home security systems results in a rise in customer satisfaction, while security providers that offer only basic services suffer reduced customer loyalty.
