Every night before bed, Kathryn and Caleb Whitt of Seneca, S.C., say their bedtime prayers with their 2-year-old daughter, Sutton, before she drifts off to sleep in her crib.
But on Jan. 24, with the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship game against the Arizona Cardinals, the parents rushed Sutton to bed so they could be in front of the TV during the game. No bedtime prayers were said as the parents went back to watching the game.
That’s when Kathryn started hearing sounds coming from upstairs. It turned out to be young Sutton saying her prayers without her parents. Kathryn recorded the adorable moment on the baby monitor.
The footage leads off this week’s installment of the Surveillance Videos of the Week, where SSI collects some of the best videos from surveillance systems.
Other top videos this week include a scary shootout that occurred at a South Carolina barbershop featuring one man’s unexpected actions, plus video of a young man aggressively stealing an iPad out of a toddler’s hands. Most of the videos are used by police to solve crimes.
