Shocking video was captured by a security camera of a rapper opening fire backstage at a T.I. concert in New York.

The rapper, Troy Ave (his real name is Roland Collins), is seen on the video entering a VIP room with a gun in hand. His bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, is with him as well. Then all hell breaks loose as the Troy Ave surveys the scene for a second and then starts shooting at the people before the video ends.

McPhatter was fatally shot in the altercation, although police aren’t sure if it was Troy Ave or someone else that shot him. Two others were injured, including a model who the New York Post reports is the girlfriend of rapper Maino, who was performing on stage at the time of the shooting.

The dramatic and chaotic video leads off this week’s installment of the Surveillance Videos of the Week. Check out the rest of the videos at the link above, including a young boy showing his bravery when confronted by armed robbers and a man completely losing his mind when he arrives to a restaurant shortly after it closes for the night.
