A young mother of two was standing in line at a store with her infant in her arms and her 4-year-old daughter a short distance away.
All was calm and normal, until a hand emerged inside the store’s door and grabbed the young girl standing away from her mother.
The mother told the store owner that a man had been staring at her when she was in the parking lot, but she never could have guessed this would happen. The mother and witnesses chased after the man, got control of the young girl and then tackled the suspect.
“It could have easily been my daughter if I had brought her to work with me,” said Stella Moriel, the store owner’s wife.
