You wouldn’t typically fear getting hit by a car while filling your gas tank, but that’s exactly what happened to a North Carolina woman. The driver of the truck is facing charges of driving while impaired and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
According to police, the driver was under the influence of pain pills when the crash occured. The victim was luckily not seriously injured.
