[IMAGE]349[/IMAGE]IRVINE, Calif. — The iF International Forum Design, an organization providing design-related services, has awarded Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products’ IK-WB16A IP network camera with the iF Product Design Award.
Introduced in 1954, the iF product design awards attract more than 2,000 product entries every year from around 37 nations. The winners, which are selected by a panel of judges, earn the iF seal of outstanding design quality.
Offering a 2MP image with 1,600 X 1,200 resolution, pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) camera features a 3.6mm lens and free recording software that will record up to 16 individual cameras. It utilizes power over Ethernet (PoE) and includes quad streaming MPEG4/JPEG video, 4x digital zoom, two-way audio and a micro SD card slot for local recording.
“Winning the iF design award validates Toshiba’s vision, value proposition and innovation,” says Sergio Collazo, director, Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products.
