Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video of Irvine, Calif., introduces a new line of high definition (HD) monitors that bring clarity, depth and color purity to video surveillance images, according to the company.

Available in 19-inch (PL1930A) and 17-inch (PL1730A) models, the monitors offer 1,280p X 1,024p HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 380cd/m2 brightness, and 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Both monitors are designed to match the connectivity requirements of professional standards by offering DVI-D input, BNC video interface and analog RGB (D-sub 15) input.

The ultra-thin LCDs take up minimal desk space and can be wall- or rack-mounted using standard VESA 100 mounts, the company says.
