The IP66-rated IK-WR12A two-megapixel IP network dome camera by Toshiba of Irvine, Calif., features a gasketed, all-steel housing combined with a built-in heater/blower that permits its installation outdoor applications.
The camera outputs 1,600 x 1,200 color video and supports dual-streaming in MPEG4 and Motion JPEG at up to 30 frames-per-second. Featuring an advanced vari-focal lens, the product offers a true infrared (IR)-cut filter day/night feature. Its long-range IR illuminators allow the camera to capture detailed video in dimly lit environments or even in complete darkness, the company says.
