The Surveillix ESV16 embedded network video recorder (NVR) by Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group of Irvine, Calif., supports up to 16 IP cameras at 30 frames per second (fps).
The device offers a maximum of 12TB of removable hard drive storage with transfer rates of 250 Mbps, according to the company. As a standalone surveillance system, the ESV16 delivers simultaneous monitoring, recording and playback. Audio and video streams encoded in H.264, MPEG4 or MJPEG formats can be recorded.
