Trango Broadband Wireless announces its wireless products and backhaul solutions were selected to power a Wi-Fi network in downtown Pittsburgh.
The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership commissioned U.S. Wireless Online to deploy the Wi-Fi network in order to provide free outdoor wireless access in the central business district. In addition, the Wi-Fi network will provide nearby municipalities with secure service for critical communications for public safety entities.
U.S. Wireless Online owns and operates one of the nation’s largest wireless Internet
broadband networks with significant coverage areas in Alabama, Florida, Indiana,
Kentucky, Mississippi and Pennsylvania.
