Trans-Alarm Acquires Continental’s Monitoring Accounts
BURNSVILLE, Minn.
Systems integrator Trans-Alarm Inc. has acquired the security monitoring accounts of Omaha, Neb.-based Continental Alarm & Detection, a division of Continental Fire Sprinkler Co.
The sale includes a majority of the monitoring accounts of Continental. Most of the accounts are in commercial markets, located mainly in Nebraska and Iowa.
Alarm monitoring services will be provided by Trans-Alarm; Continental will continue to offer fire sprinkler and alarm system installation, maintenance and inspection services.
“We look forward to bringing our five diamond central station alarm monitoring service to the customers of Continental,” say Trans-Alarm CEO Steve Champeau. “In addition, Trans-Alarm customers expanding in Continental’s service area will have an opportunity to benefit from Continental’s installation, maintenance and inspection service expertise.”
