TORRANCE, Calif. — TRENDnet announced on Wednesday the availability of two Layer 2 managed industrial switches, designed for use in environments with extreme temperatures, heavy amounts of dust and/or vibrations/shock.
TRENDnet introduces the 12-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2+ Managed DIN-Rail Switch (model TI-PG1284i) and the 6-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2 Managed DIN-Rail Switch (model TI-PG541i).
Each switch features a full PoE+ power budget, as well as dual redundant power inputs and alarm relay output to reduce downtime during power failure, TRENDnet says. The IP30 rated metal enclosure is designed to withstand a high degree of shock, provide surge protection and operate in a wide temperature range of about -40-167° F, per the company.
