Tri-Ed Distribution – a security, fire, and low-voltage
product provider – has opened two new locations in Buffalo,
N.Y., and New Orleans. The locations to serve dealers and
integrators opened up early this month. In opening the
Buffalo office, Tri-Ed has added sales team leaders Tim
Labenski and his associate Chris Fehr, who are both
longtime veterans of the security industry.
Tri-Ed’s presence in New Orleans is the result of the
company’s recent acquisition of Optimum Distribution, a
security products distributor in New Orleans. This locale’s
sales team will be headed by Bob Gates and Steve Aswad.
Tri-Ed is enjoying a newly independent status after the
distributor was aid=1923&sid=0>sold by Tyco in January to a group of
investors and is being led by former ADI President and
SSI Hall-of-Famer Steve
Roth.
