Security distributor Tri-Ed Distribution has launched a joint marketing effort with XM Satellite Radio that will allow dealers to offer their customers a free XM radio with the installation of a security system. The program — The Tri-Ed XM Advantage Program — is being rolled out at all Tri-Ed branches.

“This program allows our customers to combine one of the fastest-growing consumer electronics technologies with a state-of-the-art security system, and deliver a higher level of value to the end-user,” says Tri-Ed CEO Steve Roth. “We want to help our customers maximize their sales potential. Our objective is to provide our dealers with a competitive edge.”
