Tri-Ed IP Trainings Takes Integrators Back to Basics

Published: May 16, 2010

Since January, Tri-Ed’s 2010 IP Video Tech Tour has been offering training classes for dealers and integrators on the basics of networking, IP video and network video recording, as well as IP configuration throughout the U.S. and Canada. The IP Tech Tour will continue throughout 2010

Tri-Ed‘s Business Development Manager Jeff Stout, who teaches the courses, notes that dealers are very interested in the simplicity of the new IP cameras and the ease of hook up. Dealers are most interested in learning about megapixel (HD) video surveillance, network architecture, and network video software, he says.

Travis Morgia of STAT Communications in Watertown, N.Y., says he learned a lot of practical technical information that he could put to work after attending the Buffalo, N.Y. training. “Tri-Ed’s IP video tour was fantastic,” he says. “Jeff Stout gave a great presentation on basic networking that was informative as well as entertaining. And you couldn’t ask for a better group of vendor presentations.”
