Distributor Tri-Ed announces it has recently
increased its number of branch locations, hired more help
and expanded its product offerings and vendor partners.

Among the regions that Tri-Ed has added branches are Boston, Buffalo, N.Y., San Antonio, New Orleans and Kansas City, Mo. Two additional locations are to soon open in the Southeast and Midwest.

Additionally, the distributor has unveiled its Tri-Ed Master’s Training Program, designed to keep its internal sales staff on the cutting edge of the latest products and technology. The program includes the participation of manufacturers such as Dedicated Micros, Toshiba, HAI, Xantech, Samsung/GVI and Inter-Tel. Areas of concentration include: advanced digital recording and network video transmission; DVR configuration, including hybrid and network video recording solutions; power over Ethernet and network video configurations using the most current standards and equipment; and hard-drive storage, media storage and video transmission through LANs, WANs and the Internet. Methods of training vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and span on-site sessions, PC-based courses and Webinars.

“None of this existed in January,” says Tri-Ed President Steve Roth, who assumed leadership of the company earlier this year. “Now, we are focused, have a clear direction, and look toward the future with confidence. Although Tri-Ed is a work in progress, we have a real value proposition to offer.”
