Tri-Ed Announces Key Management Promotions

Tri-Ed Distribution has named security industry veteran Mark Ingram as vice president of U.S. sales.

WOODBURY, N.Y. – Tri-Ed Distribution has made several appointments and promotions to its management team.

The distributor has named Mark Ingram as vice president of U.S. sales. Having served in the electronic security industry for several decades, Ingram was most recently director of U.S. sales for FST21.

Prior to his work at FST21, Ingram worked as manager of strategic distribution sales for Pelco by Schneider Electric and as president of Visonic Americas. He also previously held several senior sales positions at ADI, where he worked as vice president in various capacities for nearly 20 years.

Additionally, Tri-Ed’s executive vice president, James Rothstein, has been promoted to chief marketing officer, where he will focus on supplier relationships and strategic marketing. With 25 years of experience, Rothstein has served in several executive management positions within the security industry.

Former vice president of information technology Mirza Chughtai will now serve as chief information officer.

Chughtai joined the firm in 2013 and brought more than 15 years of technology industry leadership and management experience to his role with the company. Before joining Tri-Ed, he served in senior IT management positions at Arrow Electronics, a leading electronic components and computer products distributor, and at Qimonda North America Corp.

As vice president of strategic sourcing, Gary Perlin will oversee video product management and the cable and datacomm product category.

Perlin has more than 30 years of CCTV experience and previously served as Tri-Ed’s director of CCTV products. He has held various senior roles in the industry and served as vice president of video product management for a leading manufacturer where he developed and directed its line of CCTV products.
