WOODBURY, N.Y. – Tri-Ed will begin promoting the SmartTek line of virtual services and distributing SmartTek’s CommBadge hardware as part of a new partnership with the home security products manufacturer.

SmartTek has developed mobile personal emergency response system (mPERS) services that extend beyond the home with smartphone apps that provide innovative life protection services, according to the company.

The SmartAlert app is a panic, safety, and mPERS with nationwide coverage, while the SmartGuard is a suite of tracking and monitoring protocols.

The SmartTrack app is a fleet-tracking and mobile productivity solution for small businesses. It enables central stations to enter the mPERS market without any additional hardware or software costs.

The software integrates with any existing central station automation system.

Each of the apps is designed to give security dealers and integrators a competitive edge, according to SmartTek.

“We educate our dealers about how to use technology and services to increase their RMR and company value,” says James Rothstein, Tri-Ed’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The current generation of subscribers making buying decisions are increasingly more focused on services. The SmartAlert app fit right into this market sweet spot.”
