TSI Global Acquires Sound Products, Expanding Security and AV Footprint
Acquisition enhances TSI Global’s ability to deliver AV and security solutions to an expanded client base across the Midwest.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Audiovisual, cabling and security solutions provider TSI Global today announces the acquisition of Sound Products, a Kansas City-based company that specializes in audio and visual system integrations.
This strategic acquisition “enhances TSI Global’s ability to deliver innovative AV and security solutions to an expanded client base across the Midwest,” according to the joint announcement.
TSI Global is a member company of Miami Nation Enterprises (MNE), the economic arm of the federally recognized Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. The success and growth of MNE directly benefit the Miami Tribal community in various ways, including funding scholarships, providing benefits for elders, and supporting other services vital to the tribe’s wellbeing and future, according to the announcement.
“The acquisition of Sound Products showcases MNE’s confidence in the TSI leadership team and their strategy to build the premier AV and security solutions company in the U.S.,” says Lance Theobald, CEO of MNE, in the joint announcement. “We welcome the Sound Products employees, customers, and partners to the MNE team.”
Why TSI Global Acquired Sound Products
Sound Products “has built a strong reputation in Kansas City for providing state-of-the-art audio, video, and security solutions, as well as expert integration services for commercial clients across a variety of industries,” according to the joint announcement.
For more than 34 years, president and owner Robbin Reynolds “has been at the forefront of the industry” and has announced her retirement, the announcement says.
“As I transition into retirement, I’m excited to be leaving Sound Products in the most capable hands and am especially pleased to have a seasoned and respected integrator taking Sound Products to the next level,” says Reynolds in the in announcement.
By integrating Sound Products’ expertise, TSI Global “will further bolster its offerings, providing customers with a broader range of solutions across the country,” according to the joint announcement.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sound Products into the TSI family,” says Steve Wood, president of TSI Global, in the announcement. “This acquisition aligns with our vision to grow our presence and capabilities in key markets.
“Sound Products brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of AV and security systems that will complement our existing strengths. Together, we are better positioned to meet the evolving needs of our clients while expanding our service area,” he says.
As a unified company, TSI Global and Sound Products “will continue to prioritize customer satisfaction by providing cutting-edge technology solutions designed to enhance productivity, security, and operational efficiency,” according to the joint announcement.
Both teams “are committed to delivering the high-quality service their clients have come to expect,” the announcement says.
With this acquisition, TSI Global “further solidifies its standing as a premier provider of AV and security solutions in the region while expanding its footprint into new markets,” according to the joint announcement.
