Tyco Int’l Ltd. has opened a new distribution center in Lithia Springs, Ga.
The new 205,000-square-foot Tyco Safety Products unit employs 125 people and will issue out the company’s fire detection, fire suppression and electronic security products to customers worldwide. The company’s facility features state-of-the-art delivery capabilities and is a key part of its global distribution network.

Tyco Int’l has 100,000 employees worldwide and operates in 60 countries. In 2009, it had sales of more than $17 billion.
