Tyco Int’l Ltd. will be holding an analyst meeting Jan. 22 at 9:30 a.m. (ET) and will be simultaneously broadcast on the Internet at the Web site, investors.tycoint.com/medialist.cfm. The company is holding this meeting to respond to the continuing stream of rumors that are depressing its stock and to discuss ways it plans to enhance shareholder and debtholder value.
The conglomerate’s shares dropped earlier this month, as much as 9 percent, following rumors that Tyco was interested in buying Honeywell Int’l Ltd. Its shares rose after the company denied the rumors.
