Tyco Fire & Security has announced a new president for its Tyco Safety Products Group.
Ron Krisanda will assume the roll and will report directly to David Robinson, president of Tyco Fire & Security.
Tyco Safety Products designs, manufactures and distributes systems for residential and commercial electronic security, and fire detection and suppression and life safety, including more than 60 brands marketed across the globe. It has 50 manufacturing locations in the Americas, Asia, Europe and Australia.
Robinson said Krisanda has strong operational capabilities stemming from his experience in a number of different industries. “In particular, he brings a great deal of experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain integration and purchasing on an international level,” he said.
Krisanda joined Tyco Fire & Security in March. He has served in various capacities at Motorola, General Instrument, and Ford Motor Co. Most recently, he served as vice president of operations and technology in the Tyco Plastics & Adhesives Group.
