SAN DIEGO – Tyco Fire & Security has unveiled its new American Dynamics Network Client Intelligent Video Analytics (NCIVA) solution.
The product was officially introduced to the security industry during the recent ASIS Int’l show. Featuring ObjectVideo OnBoard™, an embedded intelligent video analytics technology, the American Dynamics NCIVA offers a combination of video analytics and centralized video management. Combined with network client remote management software, the solution will allow clients to administer all of their digital video management systems and cameras from one interface. The two companies, in announcing their strategic alliance, said the system accurately detects, identifies and tracks activities that violate video system rules and notifies security personnel in real-time for such applications as railways or airports where authorities must be alerted instantly if a bag is left unattended or if a person is loitering in an entrance.
