For more than a decade, the editors of Food Logistics have profiled software and technology providers that hold influential roles in the global food and beverage supply chain. More than 150 companies applied for this year’s FL100+, more than any prior year, according to a press release. Their products benefit the industry in multiple ways, from reducing food waste and extending shelf life, to facilitating safe and sanitary transportation of product while assuring regulatory compliance.
TycoIS has for years provided security solutions to all levels of food manufacturers and distributors, including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, fire/life-safety, loss prevention, critical condition monitoring, emergency response planning and more.

“With final deadlines for the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) set for next year, the pressure is on for businesses to adhere to specific safety and security regulations throughout the food and beverage supply chain,” says Don Hsieh, director of commercial and industrial marketing at TycoIS. “Our continued recognition in the FL100+ list affirms TycoIS’ role in helping customers achieve compliance, and the company’s overall commitment to improving food defense methods and systems so customers can proactively protect their businesses instead of reacting to contain a food safety crisis.”
