JAMICA PLAIN, Mass. — uHave Control, a solutions provider for entities that include government offices, has introduced its uSwitch CS web-controlled, multichannel expandable relay/IO.

The company explains that its latest product incorporates a built-in web server, as well as voltage monitoring, Ethernet connectivity and WiFi.

The uSwitch CS is said to offer high levels of functionality to deliver control, monitoring and the ability to reboot any device from anywhere using LAN/WAN networking and web-enabled devices, including iOS, Android, Mac or PC components. Some of the common devices the unit can control include network products such as modems, lights, sirens, doors, gates and cameras.

“The uSwitch CS is a giant leap in technology and feature set for uHave Control,” states Mario Costa, president of uHave Control. “In one unit, the uSwitch CS can achieve what our competitors need multiple units to accomplish. It is the ultimate web addressable web relay and I/O Controller on the market today.”

uSwitch CS Complements a Range of Applications

Because of its web control capabilities, the newly announced I/O device also can support any number of system configurations, including a single or hundreds of existing and new uSwitches over any LAN/WAN that can control a single or multiple events.

As an example, uHave Control continues, a single uSwitch CS can trigger alarms on opposite sides of a large office complex or it can trip alarms located in different buildings of a campus or across the world.

Some of the unit’s other features besides its WiFi/Ethernet access point capabilities include upgraded scheduling and voltage monitoring. These options are said to enable the addition of mobile connectivity, access control and the ability to monitor devices like locks, lights, pumps, alarms, valves, gates and more.

In addition, the web-enabled I/O supports multiple sensors including proximity, temperature, pressure, and humidity, and it also offers the ability to send real-time event notifications by text or email.

The Boston-based manufacturer adds the new product is the latest addition to its uSwitch family, and through its technologies offers integrators a technically advanced control solution that is simple to install and use.
