COPPELL, Texas — Uniview Technology (uniview tec) announces the immediate availability of two new models in its 4K IP camera portfolio.
The new 4K IP cameras are available in a bullet or turret housing with a fixed lens, and utilize H.265 video compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements, according to the company.
This new line of uniview tec 4K cameras offers 3840 x 2160 (8MP) resolution video images with true day/night, 120dB wide dynamic range (WDR) and Smart IR LED’s for difficult lighting conditions.
Low light color video illumination up to 0.001 Lux is produced by an OmniVision 1/2.5” backside illumination technology CMOS sensor with H.265 DSP (Digital Signal Processing), enabling vivid and crisp color images in low lighting conditions, according to the company.
The IPT4K28 turret model comes equipped with a 2.8mm lens while the IPB4K40 bullet model features a 4mm lens. Both housings are IP67 weather-resistant rated for harsh environmental conditions.
The 4K IP cameras also have a wide voltage range tolerance of +/-25%, lightning surges of up to 6KV and an operating temperatures ranging from -22º to +140º F.
Additional features include support for corridor view in the 9:16 aspect ratio; video content analysis (analytics) such as behavior, exception, identification and statistical; Cloud upgrades with connection to a univew tec NVR; PoE power back up in case of DC power loss and many more.
