Uplink to Provide Alarm Communication Services to Videofied Customers
ATLANTA — Alarm communicator manufacturer Uplink has teamed up with RSI Video Technologies to provide network services for RSI’s Videofied alarm systems throughout North America. Through the partnership, Videofied will allow alarm companies to obtain Uplink alarm communication services directly through its distribution partner, Tri-Ed.
“Our alarm dealers were looking for a single-source provider for alarm communication services for our 3G and 4G Videofied alarm panels,” says Dennis Dopp, vice president of sales and business development at RSI Technologies. “As a recognized industry leader in these services and a trusted partner to alarm dealers, we’re excited to be able to offer Uplink’s dependable services to our dealers.”
Videofied’s alarm systems integrate cameras, illumination, and motion sensors in a single device. The solution can be installed as a standalone alarm system or as an add-on to an existing alarm system. Uplink’s multi-carrier technology allows alarm systems to operate on virtually any 2G, 3G or 4G cellular network, according to a company press release.
