VCA is on the scene for ASIS 2015 in Anaheim, Calif., as it displays its range of high definition IP network video devices equipped with its analytics technology.

VCA — which offers IP cameras, encoders, NVRs and thermal cameras — is at booth 484. It also has released a new product that the company says will allow users to retrofit existing IP installations with VCA analytics to assist systems integrators in improving video alarm performance to their customers in the remote video monitoring sector or any security application.

Through VCA analytics, business intelligence reports are offered to customers’ clients via its metadata capture.

The company says the analytics provides an ‘out-of-the-box’ solution for a wide range of security applications.

Furthermore, VCA says its video analytics, when paired with its cameras, allows installers, remote monitoring centers and end-users to work together to reduce false alarms. It also allows companies to gather data that could achieve a better understanding of the behavior of people who work or visit the premises.
