With hopes to enhance its video surveillance systems market
and technology position, Bosch Security Systems has
acquired 100 percent of the share capital of Nuremberg,
Germany-based Video Communication Systems (VCS). VCS
employs 40 people and manufacturers of video servers,
digital video recorders, network-based recorders and video
management systems.
It was founded in 1995 and works with distributors and OEM partners worldwide.
