Vector Security Announces Carolina Video Security Acquisition

Vector Security expands home and business security presence in North Carolina with addition of Carolina Video Security.

PITTSBURGH – Intelligent home and business security and automation solutions provider Vector Security, Inc., has acquired Raleigh, N.C.-based Carolina Video Security, Inc., expanding their presence in North Carolina to include offices in Raleigh, Sanford and Washington, according to a joint announcement.

The acquisition of Carolina Video Security “strengthens Vector Security’s presence in North Carolina and underscores the company’s dedication to fostering strong community ties while delivering top-of-the-line intelligent commercial security and video services,” the announcement says.

The integration of CVSI into the Vector Security family “ensures continuity for existing customers to receive the personalized, professional service they have come to trust,” according to the joint announcement. The CVSI staff will continue operating from their local branch office in Raleigh, ensuring “seamless support for customers through this transition.”

Why Did Vector Security Acquire Carolina Video Security?

For nearly two decades, CVSI has been “a trusted name in security services across North Carolina,” according to the joint announcement. This new chapter “brings expanded resources, advanced technologies and additional support for CVSI’s customer base, reinforcing their confidence in the level of service they will continue to experience,” the announcement says.

Brad Silvernail, president of CVSI, expressed his enthusiasm for the future.

“Joining forces with Vector Security is not just an opportunity to grow, but also to enhance how we serve our customers,” he says in the joint announcement. “Vector Security shares our values and commitment to the community, and this partnership ensures that our customers remain in the best possible hands.”

With respect to the transaction, attorneys from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, led by Mary Ann Dunham, provided legal advice to Vector Security and Chris Fulmer at Morningstar Law Group, advised CVSI. Additionally, on the sell side, CVSI was represented by Jerry Wilkins of Security Products Marketing, Inc.

Vector Security is actively seeking further opportunities to expand through acquisitions, according to the joint announcement.
