Security systems provider and installer Vector Security says it will be expanding its national accounts division (NAD) nationwide. The plan includes the placement of new regional offices throughout the U.S. Joe English, NAD vice president for Vector, says the expansion will reduce the communication separation between NAD project managers, new and existing customers, and technical service partners.
“As our customer locations grew, we realized that directing our overall operations from our Manassas, Virginia-based National Service Center would reach a point where we would need greater field presence to maintain our effectiveness,” English said in a statement. “Providing that increased level of presence is the goal of this project.”
Vector plans to open offices in Southern California and Texas as the kickoff to the expansion effort.
Jim Shepherd, manager of field operations for Vector, has been tasked with staffing each new office. Shepherd has selected former National Alarm Computer Center (NACC) staffer John Staph to lead Southern California operations and former Sprint and EDS manager Michael Karnish to head the Texas office.
