Vector Security Sponsors ‘Save a Life’ Program

SCRANTON, Pa.

Vector Security has announced a partnership with Kidde and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pennsylvania’s regional ABC affiliate WNEP-TV to help improve fire safety for the poor. The “Operation: Save a Life’ program will distribute 10,000 smoke alarms, donated by Kidde, to needy families through 200 regional fire departments.

WNEP will provide important fire and carbon monoxide prevention information to its viewers to coincide with the effort. The promotional spots will provide safety information ranging from the correct placement of smoke alarms to the proper operation of fire extinguishers.

Vector is developing additional promotions throughout the summer, including on-air spots featuring members of its staff, to further WNEP-TV’s efforts.

The “Operation: Save a Life” program is being coordinated in 12 markets across the country. For more information, visit www.wnep.com.
