Vector Security Merges National Accounts Division With Industry Retail Group
The company combined the national accounts division with its wholly-owned retail subsidiary to form the new Vector Security Networks brand.
WARRENDALE, Pa. – Vector Security has combined its national accounts division and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Industry Retail Group (IRG), to operate under a single brand called Vector Security Networks.
The single source solution for managed network services and physical security will serve multisite businesses across North America, according to the company.
“Our primary focus will be harnessing the tenure and expertise of our teams to better serve our nearly 90,000 customer sites, as well as pursuing new relationships,” says John Taggart, vice president, Vector Security Networks. “We are two very strong companies on our own, but together under Vector Security Networks, multi-site businesses have access to the best in security and managed services under one roof.”
Vector Security acquired IRG in 2013, laying the groundwork for business intelligence offerings and the expansion of services that provide turnkey solutions for multisite businesses. Combined with the national accounts division makes Vector Security Networks the largest North American retail provider of managed security solutions in a broadband-based, application-driven marketplace, the company says.

“Behind the scenes, our two teams have been working as one,” says Michael Grady, executive vice president, Vector Security Networks. “We are now officially bringing them together as a one source solution under the Vector Security Networks brand. Our name will transition over the next several months, but our customers will still experience the same level of attention and support they have come to expect from us over the years.”
The combined divisions will provide various services to end customers, including network operations center (NOC) monitoring, device management, PCI compliance, alarm management, loss prevention, video surveillance and more.
