Physical security provider Vicon Industries Inc. has been named to the 2009 Fortune Small Business 100 list of the fastest growing small public companies in the U.S. Vicon was ranked 49th on the list.
“Vicon is pleased to be recognized by Fortune Small Business,” says Vicon Chairman and CEO Ken Darby. “From product design to customer care, we focus on meeting the needs of system users.”
Vicon’s ViconNet, a physical security information management platform, has paced Vicon’s growth in recent years, according to Darby.
The Fortune Small Business ranking of the 100 fastest growing small public companies in America is compiled by the financial research firm ZACKS. The firm analyzes public companies with annual revenue of less than $200 million and a stock price of more than $1. Qualifying companies are then ranked based on earnings growth, revenue growth and stock performance over the last three years.
