Vicon Industries Inc. of Hauppauge, N.Y., introduces its upgraded VDR-304/308/316 Series of DVRs. The VDR-304 is a four-channel unit and is available with 160GB, 300GB and 500GB hard drives. The VDR-308 model has eight video channels and the 316 model is a 16-channel unit. Both come with a 300GB hard drive.
Upgraded features include MPEG-4 video compression, multichannel playback and backup with a 128-channel multiviewer, and Quadplex simultaneous record, playback, backup and network streaming.
