Bosch Security Systems of Fairport, N.Y., has unveiled its new AutoDome camera surveillance system. Based on a platform of interchangeable modules, this system enables users to migrate to future/advanced functionality, such as object tracking and TCP/IP connectivity, by replacing existing modules with ones incorporating newer technology, negating the need to change the entire system. This system is compatible with the entire line of Bosch surveillance products as well as a number of competitive platforms.
These cameras allow for the ability to stream IP and analog video simultaneously, ensuring compatibility with existing analog systems and permitting users to change over to IP all at once or one camera at a time.
