INDIANAPOLIS — A murder of a pastor’s pregnant wife has rocked the surrounding community as it looks for answers.

On Friday, Indianapolis Metro Police said it has some answers, thanks in large part to evidence collected from video surveillance systems in the neighborhood of the crime. Clues inside the house and the possible recovery of a stolen car are also part of the evidence, according to a WTHR report.

IMPD Chief Rick Hite had a personal message for the killer: “We’re serious about this. We’re coming to get you.”

Surveillance video captured a mysterious man on the Blackburns’ front porch around the time of the murder. Police believe he is the killer.

Kurt Baker, the Blackburn’s neighbor, hopes his home video surveillance system can be put to use by police.

“If my camera shows that, I’m ecstatic of that,” he said.
