Video Surveillance Helps Milwaukee Police Catch Burglar

Video surveillance footage provided Milwaukee police with a clear image to arrest a man wanted for burglary.

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee police officers are crediting video surveillance with helping them arrest a man wanted in a burglary.

On August 19, a man was captured on security camera breaking into a car in an apartment building’s garage.

The suspect ransacked the car, and fled from the scene when someone entered the garage, Fox 6 Now reports.

Officers said the surveillance footage provided a clear image of the suspect. They were able to find the suspect at another building across the street from the apartment building.

The suspect, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man who had an open warrant for an April 2015 attempt theft case, was taken into custody.
